Devang Shah is WAN-IFRA award-winning filmmaker and founder of Grand Disruption Films Pvt. Ltd., a company pioneering AI-driven cinema. With over a decade of experience, he has produced short films and documentaries across India, Ghana, South Africa, Ethiopia, Panama, Thailand, France, and the USA, collaborating with local artists and global organizations to tell stories that explore human emotions and international issues.

A former BBC and Viacom18 producer, Devang is passionate about innovating with technologies in storytelling. His latest project, Transcendence, is India’s first AI-verité film. He holds degrees from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, Harvard Law School, and Harvard Divinity School, and remains dedicated to challenging norms and opening new perspectives through his work.
